Post Graduate taught course in Electronic and Automation was extremely useful in preparing myself for the Automation Industry. Being a Mechanical Engineering Graduate, I was having second thoughts in joining a course conducted by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department. But, as was evident later, I did not have any difficulty in following the course. I believe that it would be a similar experience for any Engineering graduate who has the interest and determination towards leaning Mechatronics and Automation.

This course is very well structured so that most of the Automation related topics were covered in sufficient depth.  The course is advanced enough to dwell in to topics like Digital System Design, FPGA implementations, Sensor Fusion, Optimal Control, Machine Vision while covering the basic technologies like VSD, PLC, PIC programming and implementations, etc.,

With adequate laboratory facilities and hands on project, this course is very useful to anyone with an inclination towards Automation Technologies.
