Prof, Fernando is Electronic and Telecommunication Department Alumni form 1981. He explained the projects which are carried out at the THINKLab and how the futuristic visions are implemented at this facility. His main area of interest was using virtual reality and augmented reality to solve real world problems. The graduates from the 04 batch in a collective effort to upgrade the resources of the department presented the Head of Department with the completed wooden stage. It is indeed heartening to see these graduates act with responsibility and sensitive to the needs of others. This magnanimous gesture will be remembered by many batches to come. In a day and age where university graduates are branded as hooligans, these graduates are shining examples of the best that a University system can produce. As the current Head of Department said "This is why all of us come to the university everyday .. to produce well rounded graduates who are an asset to this country ...".
