Training Course on Microcontroller Based System Design

Objectives:Designing of Microcontroller based systems has become a highly demanded area in Sri Lanka and there is a frequent request from people about training courses related to this area. Therefore, it is expected to train people in Microcontroller based system design.

Target group:Engineers and Technicians from the fields of Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical are welcome. Other applicants who have interest in microcontroller based systems may also apply.

Course outline:

  • Introduction to Microcontrollers
  • Microcontroller based circuits
  • PIC microcontroller programming
  • Atmel microcontroller programming
  • Computer aided circuit design and PCB design
  • In-circuit serial programming for SMD chips

Training Course on Industrial Automation and PLCs

Objectives:The course is intended to let the personals from the industry get an established knowledge on industrial automation and the use of PLCs in industrial automation. The course will cover all areas in industrial automation and provide the candidates following the course with good knowledge on pneumatics, automation systems, sensors and PLCs, including PLC programming.

Target group:Engineers and Technicians from the fields of Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical are welcome. Other applicants with engineering background may apply with a letter certifying his/her post from the working place.

  • Fundamentals of Pneumatic Systems
  • Pneumatic control systems
  • Sensors and actuators used in industrial automation
  • Basic Control circuits and Ladder Concepts
  • PLC Basics and programming
