The activities under this MoU will be between the Department of Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering and the Communications and Networks Research Group (ComNets) at the University of Bremen. The main research focus of the ComNets group is performance analysis of communication networks and their protocols. This includes the implementation of prototypes as well as performance studies by mathematical analysis and simulation. The group consists of several post-docs as well as several fully employed research assistants.
As the first activity under the new MoU, Dr. Andreas Könsgen, Senior Letcturer from the Communications and Networks Research Group, visited the Department of Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering during September. During his visit, Dr. Könsgen conducted two workshops on Wireless hardware development for the Internet of Things for the students of the Department and reviewed research that is of shared interest that is currently underway.
